This approach looks at three areas: development-centered parenting, helping parents understand how they parent and their child’s development.

Each visit plan includes a parent-child activity (age appropriate activities that stimulate language, social skills and fine and gross motor skill development), parenting strategies to promote healthy development, and a focus on family well being.  There is also a time for book sharing included in the visit.  The Parent Educator will personalize information to fit the family’s needs, concerns, and hopes and will build on their strengths and skills.
